Student Care Network
In an isolating and quiet day of age, it’s difficult to speak up when you’re in desperate need.
Without connections and an unfamiliar environment, you need a hand of guidance and a framework to develop upon as a young individual. Here, we offer a platform that welcomes the voices of both sides, those who struggle, whether it be the smallest things or the largest, to those who are willing to help, connecting them together to help serve each other’s needs and contribute to an actual world of change.
Ultimately, this organization aims to provide young students with an organized, scheduled, personal, and cooperative platform for volunteering opportunities across San Antonio. In today’s society, teenagers aren’t exposed enough to the act of volunteering, which is a necessary experience in life. The Student Care Network bridges students who typically have no idea where to start with volunteering, when to start, who to help, and how to make an impact.
Collectively, we wish to tether the community of San Antonio, Texas as a whole, demonstrating that change is possible, even when starting with something small.

Well, this is an organization that aims to strengthen and establish community within the world, more specifically San Antonio, through the best act a human can do for another: helping!
At Student Care Network we want to provide a platform for students to get in touch with volunteering throughout our community. Volunteering offers young students a unique opportunity to develop essential life skills while positively impacting their communities.
It fosters a sense of empathy and social responsibility, helping students understand diverse perspectives and the importance of giving back.
Through hands-on experiences, students enhance their communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, which are invaluable in both personal and future professional contexts.
Not only that, but volunteering can boost self-esteem and lead to lasting friendships, creating a strong sense of belonging and purpose among peers.
How do I know this organization is trustable?
Of course this organization is trustworthy, you don’t even lose out on anything in the first place! We are a completely free platform that simply provides students with a way to volunteer in a more organized manner, while also promoting the idea of volunteering throughout our diverse city.
Originally, this organization begun as a passionate project from a high school student in the San Antonio community, Landen Sloan, who looked for ways to reform the city into a tethered and supportive body, all backed up by young students who look to develop necessary life skills and learn how to handle a variety of encounters.
We offer you a platform to request any type of assistance required for your needs. Sign up and explain what you need in assistance, and even schedule an appointment to meet with your volunteer if preferred, but make sure to communicate with us so matters are properly handled!
We push out your volunteering requests to dedicated and passionate volunteers who would love to tackle any reasonable and legal laboring or mental tasks needed.
How does this whole thing work?
First, we ask for any families, people, or organizations to request the help they need on our platform, which then leads us to contact our list of passionate volunteers to perfectly match them with the task that they’ll love.
Importantly, make sure as a volunteer to request confirmation for the accurate volunteer hours/service that you have completed either through email/online, or with in-person documents. Regardless of the way your school requires the submission of volunteer hours, please communicate with us so we can pridefully reward you for your hard work.
If preferred by those submitting these requests for volunteers, you can schedule an appointment to meet them in advance if you are questioning the reliability and credibility of our student volunteers, so in that case, make sure to plan ahead and inform us through email.
Then, once the day comes for the needed volunteer(s), they’ll come to you and provide you with the orderly personalized assistance you need.
Before any volunteering takes place, we must establish that it is a safe environment and community that the request is coming from.
